FT-IR Spectral Libraries
Nicolet®/Aldrich Raman Condensed Phase Library
Description
| General description | The Aldrich Raman Condensed Phase Library consists of 14,033 FT-Raman spectra of various substances, most of which are pure organic or inorganic compounds. A Nicolet Raman 950 spectrometer (with a germanium detector) was used to collect the Raman spectra. The spectra were then saved in Raman Shift format. All of the spectra were originally measured at 2cm-1 resolution and then deresolved during conversion to the library format. The GALACTIC version is only available on floppy disc. |
| Libraries may be used with OMNIC®, GRAMS®/32, or Spectral I.D.® (Z407488) and are supplied on CD-ROM. Libraries are in deresolved format and contain spectra at 16 cm-1 resolution by 8-bit ordinate precision. • Contain spectral data from 4,000 to 450 cm-1 • Best used when searching compounds with significant spectral differences • Generally not suitable when using spectral subtraction or other precision spectral identification techniques | |
| Other Notes | Other libraries are available –please inquire. • Alcohols and phenols • Aldehydes and ketones • Carboxylic acids, esters, lactones, and anhydrides • Polymers • Solvents • More |
